Small Plane Slams Into Davenport Airport Terminal

Davenport, IA — Investigations are continuing to determine what caused a small to roll about 200 feet, before slamming into a terminal building at the Davenport Municipal Airport Saturday, January 21, 2012, reported WQAD.
Police reported that 39-year-old Kevin Kadlec of Eagle River, Wis., had rented a Cessna 172 RG plane and was allegedly trying to start the engine manually, by spinning the propeller by hand, when the accident occurred just before 10:30 p.m. at the Carver Aero FBO terminal building. <
